Matthieu Bouchet
I have joined the Astro-Cosmo group as a PhD student in autumn 2024 working on cosmic ray transport in the turbulent interstellar medium with Yoann GENOLINI and Francesca CALORE. My current work deals with the analytical and numerical computation of transport diffusion coefficients in synthetic turbulences and magnetohydrodynamic simulations.
I did my Master thesis in the french engineer school called ENSMA (École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d’Aérotechnique) which is dealing with all the fields regarding air transport, going from solid and fluid mechanics to aerodynamic, including numerical simulation of thermodynamics. In my last year at ENSMA, I specialized in aerodynamics and studied in depth topics such as turbulence, numerical simulations, wing aerodynamics or interaction between structures and fluids. I did my final internship at LAPTh during spring and summer 2024.
