Dimitris Kantzas
I am a postdoctoral researcher at LATPh since November 2022. I’m originally from Athens, Greece, where I obtained my B.Sc. in physics in 2014 from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After receiving my M.Sc. from the same university, I moved to Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam affiliated with API and GRAPPA, where I obtained my Ph.D. under the supervision of prof. Sera Markoff.
My scientific interests are around high-energy astrophysics and indirect dark matter searches. More precisely, during my Ph.D., I worked on the connection of Galactic black holes and how the jets that they emit may contribute to the cosmic-ray, gamma-ray and neutrino spectra we detect on Earth.
